The Backstory

Once a peaceful kitchen where naps were long and snacks were plenty, your home has become a battleground of epic proportions. Disgusting creatures now crawl from the baseboards and scamper out of drains, threatening the sacred pantry where all your treats seem to come from. But all is not lost.

For generations, the Feline Order of the Cardboard Guard has stood ready. Their sacred oath: "From our perch we pounce, from our tower we triumph. Guard the house, get the mouse!" As the senior ranking member of this proud tradition, it’s your duty to staff your post—on top of a wobbly cardboard box—and repel wave after wave of unspeakable vermin.

And then... there's the cucumber. No one knows how it got there. It's just all of the sudden THERE. Ah! Just the sight of it paralyzes even the bravest whiskered warriors. But you must hold the line. Even when the vegetables become sentient.

...but nothing can compare to the pinchy monstrosity that ought to be canned and served for dinner.

How to Play

Objective

The vermin are in your home! It's up to you to keep them out! From your perch on top a cardboard box, you must defend your home. Stop these terrible invaders from reaching the kitchen by strategically placing towers to stop waves of enemies from reaching the pantry. Each new wave will be a bit stranger than the one before it. Survive as many waves as possible.

The Vermin

• 🐁 Mouse – Speed: Fast, Reward: 8 credits
• 🐀 Rat – Speed: Normal, Reward: 10 credits
• 🦂 Scorpion – Speed: Slow, Reward: 15 credits
• 🪳 Cockroach – Harder to kill. Speed: Very Slow, Reward: 25 credits
• 🦇 Bat – Flies over towers! Speed: Normal, Reward: 12 credits
  Bats can only be hit by Basic and Slash towers!
• 🥒 The Dreaded Cucumber – The scariest thing a cat will ever see. Appears on waves 10, 30, 50... Reward: 50+ credits
• 🦀 Pinchy The Crab Boss – Appears on waves 20, 40, 60... Reward: 150+ credits
  Pinchy explodes on death, destroying up to 3 nearby towers!

Enemy HP increases by 10% each wave. Boss HP increases by 10% every 10 waves.

Towers

• 🔫 Basic Tower – Cost: 50
  Damage: 10/15/20, Range: Short, Fire Rate: Fast
  Upgrades: 25/30 credits
• 🚀 Advanced Tower – Cost: 75
  Damage: 15/22/33 (fires 2 rockets), Range: Medium, Fire Rate: Slow
  Upgrades: 35/45 credits
• 🎯 Sniper Tower – Cost: 100
  Damage: 30/51/75 (instant laser), Range: Very Long, Fire Rate: Very Slow
  Upgrades: 50/65 credits
  Cannot target flying enemies!
• \\\ Slash Tower – Cost: 80
  Damage: 5/7/9 (fires 5 projectiles), Range: Short, Fire Rate: Medium
  Upgrades: 40/50 credits

Upgraded towers show yellow (level 2) or red (level 3) indicators. Sell towers for 50% of total invested cost. Tap/Click on towers to see their range and to upgrade/sell.

Tips

• Place towers strategically – you cannot block the path completely!
• Click on towers to upgrade or sell them, or see their range
• Mix different tower types for best defense
• Hard Mode spawns enemies from two entrances!

Notes

Purrimeter Tower Defense was inspired by a 2007 flash game and the real-life feline courage in the face of everyday horrors: vacuums, sneaky cucumbers, and the betrayal of an empty food bowl.
