Pharaoh's Litterbox

Pharaoh's Litterbox Box Art

Trapped inside a cursed pyramid after a fateful nap on a sun-warmed sarcophagus, the mighty royal feline Whiskers of Thebes now faces the greatest challenge of all: escaping an ancient labyrinth filled with traps, πŸ€ rats, 🐍 snakes, and ✨poops✨.

Legend tells of Ubasti, the ancient cat goddess, who may yet guide our stinky hero to freedom. But only if he can master the ancient art of Litter Sorcery β€” a ritual which involves placing πŸ’© and ceremonially burying it in desert sand.

The Sacred Ritual

In each chamber of the pyramid, the cat must place πŸ’© and then cover it using blessed sand that falls from above. Only when every πŸ’© is properly buried will the divine door open, allowing progress deeper into the pyramid's bowels (pun extremely intended). At some point our hero will even have more than one dookie to drop.

Be warned: sand must be handled with care. It can only be kicked three times before becoming scattered too much to cover anything. Each pile of sand can cover up to three πŸ’©s... if used wisely.

Controls

Sand Dispensers & Pressure Plates

Yellow pressure plates must be activated to release sand from hidden dispensers in the ceiling. Some plates are cat-sensitive, but others require heavier weight (hint: stone blocks).

When pushing a block while backed up with πŸ’©, our cat friend may involuntarily release the goods πŸ’© due to the strain. Use this to your advantage or suffer awkward timing.

Enemies

Double-tap your attack key to swipe with claws of justice. This will stun enemies temporarily β€” long enough to make your escape or continue your sacred πŸ’© burial rites.

Continue Your Game

If you lose your 9 lives early, it's OK! You'll get a secret continue code you can use to start the game over from that level, at any time.

Winning the Game

Each room is a test of logic, patience, and bodily functions. Complete them all to reach the final altar where Ubasti may bless you with eternal clean paws... or just an exit door.
